"Dotsume jersey" is an extremely thick material made of approximately 11.5 ounces of American cotton and knitted on a loopwheel. It is knitted as tightly as possible, so only about 30 pieces of fabric can be produced per day from one knitting machine, making it a material that cannot be mass-produced. This ribbed T-shirt uses a thick rib that is similar to that of a sweatshirt to match the main fabric, creating a good overall balance. In addition to the reassuring appearance of being opaque, not revealing the lines of the body, and not showing sweat stains, the tight rib creates a puffy short-sleeved sweatshirt-like shape, and creates a gap between the fabric and the skin, making it comfortable to wear even in the hot autumn.
