Instead of placing it on top, it is set on the reverse side and stitched with precise alignment, a technique that requires advanced skill. The panel is made from rib fabric to follow the natural curve of the shoulders and improve the fit over time. The cuffs and hem use flat-seam construction, while the neckline features front and back W-gussets. The sides combine flat-seam stitching, single-needle overlock covering, and durable three-needle decorative stitching, creating a sweatshirt that resists distortion and develops a lived-in feel with wear.
