12 oz khadi spun(hand spun), hand loomed, natural plant hank dyed indigo denim. The natural indigo is hank dyed, (hand twisted into the yarn for maximum penetration of the yarn core and deep hue blue color)

Natural indigo has a very unique and beautiful color blue that can't be replicated by synthetic indigo

Hank dyed denim varies in color from yarn to yarn to produce a variegated indigo color warp only found in artisanal quality denim

Natural indigo is made from fermented Indigofera plant leaves

Natural indigo dying is very time consuming and takes an expert craftsmen dyer to understand the process

The 99.9% indigo is synthetic, developed by the Germans in the late 1800's
